Crime Scene Virtual Tour (Java-based panoramic VR, made with EasyPano)
“… a distinctive virtual reality solution for crime scene investigation. Based on 360 degree panoramic images, Crime Scene Virtual Tour provides an easy way to reconstruct a 3D crime scene through photos and offers unparalleled features to crime scene investigators, which takes them back to the crime scenes and enables them to wander through the scene.”

Chemistry

Molecular Visualization Freeware: home page and download site for the RasMol, Protein Explorer, and Chime applications. Developed at Glaxo Wellcome and the University of Edinburgh, RasMol generates 3D models displaying the structure of DNA, proteins and smaller molecules. Protein Explorer is a derivative of RasMol, and uses the Chime plug-in. RasMol models can also be converted to VRML using WebLab Viewer

The Moviemol Molecular Animation Program: a program for visualization and animation of molecular structures. At any moment during the animation, the molecules can be rotated or translated, magnified or diminished.
